You're going to have to find a proxy to tunnel out of the filter. It's almost impossible to find a good one. If you do find one, they sometimes don't work correctly because you need a secure connection to login and proxies are usually unsecure. Proxies don't last long either - the filters (and admins) are usually smart enough to figure out what you're doing in short amounts of time.
Many schools use filters (such as Bess) that already block the most popular proxies.
