my mom and dad are thinking about getting me a myspace but they keep saying that people can view my profile and message me even if its set on private or if im not their friend but i keep telling them that you can only message them and stuff only if youre their friend on myspace... so please help me prove to them u cant.... yah..

ya, once you create a myspace, you set the security prefferances so that no one except friends can comment, view, or message you.

They can message you, but they cannot see your profile. Also you can block people from a certain age, like people from, 40-45 or something like that. When people message you you can block them from there also.
