What you CAN'T do is read through someone's private profile (as of right now) without being their friend.

However, what you CAN do is view their private pictures without being their friend and without logging on. I can't release the method here (because I simply don't know it) But I know as of RIGHT NOW, there is a working photo exploit.

However, if your interest seriously lies in reading your daughter's messages, absolutely the best way to go about it is to bug her computer. I know, because I've done it before, and am currently parenting over a 13-year-old's computer after recieving a strange, much-older caller from several states away on a couple occasions asking for the kid (Trust me, that's never good).

Anyways, what you can do is get a keylogger. These come in all ranges and applications, from free licenses to shareware. You can easily get one of these, discreetly install it on your daughter's computer when she's away, and simply read the logs of what she types, get passwords to her online accounts (hence access to all her accounts, and everything saved in them), and even do so much as have them take screenshots, and create a detailed history of all IM windows, and websites visited.

If you're truly concerned, and your daughter's privacy doesn't trump your fear of her getting taken advantage of, then you'll probably see that installing a keylogger is not that big a deal. However, don't overdo it with destroying her privacy, this is a great way to ruin a parent-child relationship.

However, if you're really just asking how you view private pictures, and using the daughter bit as a ruse (as a lot of people do) All I can tell you is that the current exploit is about 13 days old now, and will be patched any day now. If you're lucky, it'll get publicly released before they do, so just stay vigilant on those search engines.
