Is there anyway to view a private myspace profile?

without having the add the person?

or atleast the comments, blogs, pics, SOMETHING?

I HAVE GOOD REASON

i have come across the myspace of on of my teachers, and she dosn't add anyone, i've tryed making various accounts and she always denys. i want to see whats on her profile and such because her extended network banner has said some pretty strange things. like 'single and looking for that guy' and 'last night was wild!' so yeah.. i think she could get in trouble for having this myspace anyways, i just want more proof.

No there is not a way to see a private profile - whats on there is her business, not yours.

teachers ARE allowed to lead personal lives.

There have been several policies made by various state and local agencies on how teachers should behave, a simple google search with "teachers myspace" should reveal many of these.

In regards to myspace specifically, many school districts (as per reading of those articles, see one citation below) allow teachers to use myspace in 1 of 2 ways. 1: An open myspace page for a teaching environment (i.e. helping students) If a teacher has students on their myspace it must be a PUBLIC page

2. A private life myspace page. Anything regarding a staff members private life as per policy should be seperate from school affairs, i.e. no students on the myspace page.

This follows general standards on teacher/student interaction and the various laws regarding such, many a teacher has been let go from their employment because of student interaction outside of an educational environment.

In short, it is really a safety measure for the teacher so no concerns are raised on what their student sees/knows about their teachers. Thus, it also protects against disallowed relationships and interactions between the student and teacher.

As long as it's private and she keeps students off her friends, (although she legally can have another PUBLIC profile for student purposes) she remains within the protection of privacy.
